Ireland Coach Tours is owned and ran by James Walshe. James comes from County Tyrone by the shores of Lough Neagh in the Heart of Mid Ulster, it is an area steeped in history culture, music, singing and friendly people.
James is married with four children and four grandchildren, proud of his family and the area he was brought up in.

In the past James had his own workshop where he would serve the local Farming community fixing their machinery, James once said “there wasn’t much money in that business but there were some great stories”. James has been taking tours of his local area many years as a voluntary community worker and now guides full time after being prompted by visitors saying “you should do this all the time”.
When you book James for a tour on his bus (named ‘Kitty’ after his late mother), you are not just getting a Bus Driver/ Tour Guide, James has many interests and qualifications.
He is a story-teller, amateur historian, amateur archaeologist, sculptor, writer, pilot and a promoter of the Irish language and traditional music.
